They’ve bounced back first time. Twice. Their ONLY two years outside of the premier league. Their owner bankrolled them to the tune of £60m+ to get back into the premier league, despite being universally hated by the fans. They’ve had champions league football, European football, a 5th and 10th place recent finishes in the premier league. They convinced a champions league winning, ex Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid manager to come to them and stay with them for a championship season. They are the north east media darlings. They’ve had many more notable players play for them. They've had loads of recent good results against the top 6 sides... just to name a few things.

I’d take a season of champions league football, or European football, or a 5th place finish, or a champions league winning manager take charge of us. Just because they’ve never won a trophy doesn’t mean they’re not jammy. Any shit they fall into they’re straight back out of, within a single season.

You like talking dirty...I bet you were touching yourself when you wrote all that with one hand:lol:

Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea wouldn't have him .... Everton aren't that different to West Ham and have a stadium to finance.

Where could he go better than West Ham in truth, he's not that good.

In the last three seasons he only managed to get relegated, followed by a 21st and 10th place finish. Proper big clubs don't tolerate that failure.

If this is, in fact, a bluff then it's from West Ham to push Fonseca into action.

It's definitely not from Benitez imo.

Surely he won't go to West ham? They we're lobbing coins at their owners a month ago, he might as well take on the job at Sporting Lisbon.

Like someone said, I can't see him leaving unless a big club in England who have a bit more stability come calling.

"BREAKING: West Ham are planning on making a move for Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez- Sky sources"

Don't shoot the messenger. Sorry if seb. Also FTM

Please let the scum gan for David Moyes

There'd be f***ing uproar

Tin hat on but unless he wants to move his family down south why would he leave the mags for west ham

Its not like he would be leaving one average club for a massive club both clubs are a similar Size
I think his family still live on the Wirral so it would make no difference in that respect.

If this is, in fact, a bluff then it's from West Ham to push Fonseca into action.

It's definitely not from Benitez imo.
Mags reckon Ashley is pally pally with Sky, it’s just as likely to have come from him as Benitez

Isn't the bloke in charge of the footy on sky a mags fan
Not sure if he’s still there or not, but I’d bet Gold is mates with the likes of Jim White. Lots of sleaze together.
Just had a read on Twitter it’s hilarious :lol:

Yes I know that mate but this just doesn't look that way to me, too much of a conspiracy theory.

West Ham have enough on their plate without becoming involved in mind games like this and wouldn't take kindly to having their name used by Benitez.

Ashley wouldn't be suckered by shit tactics like that in any case, they didn't work last time.

I'd say this definitely has some foundation in fact.
For me Ashley sees £6m compensation, gets rid of a manager who is like a fly he can’t swat buzzing around his head, and brings in someone who won’t be constantly swiping at him in the press. And let’s be honest he couldn’t care about the reaction of the supporters.
It’s easy to say Rafa has leaked this, but it could just as easily be West Ham, or Ashley.

Be gutted if he goes but wouldn’t blame him, Ashley is clearly going to shaft him again in the summer and he will be getting about 50 pence to spend again. Would like to think he would be going somewhere better than West Ham mind but that’s just a further reflection of where Nufc are under Ashley.
