You're correct of course, he's definitely always backed the manager with players. Particularly in the summer of 2012 when our only significant acquisition after finishing fifth was Vurnon Anita for £6.7m.

Or in the summer of 2013 when our only significant acquisition was the loan signing of Loic Remy

You've missed off Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sissoko, Haidaira, Gouffran etc who you masterly scouted at the time, by heralded scout Graham Carr, known for bringing in such cheap talents that your fans were bragging about. Considering your fans are cooing with delight at the profit he's made of some of those players, it seems he can't win.

So Bar 2013 which he didn't spend much, he's backed your managers like I said. But don't let missed information get in the way of your agenda.

It would be devastating for yous.fingers crossed eh?

Same for you. Just as well Fat Mike's run your club well, or is that a taboo thing to give him any sort of praise? It must be f***ing killing you to accept that through gritted teeth

Those were made in the winter window due to us being in relegation trouble at the turn of the year, those signings would not have been made at that point otherwise.

Similar to how we signed Shelvey, Townsend and Saivet in January which proved less successful.

Ashley, on the face of it, at the minute looks to have turned a corner. It isn't taboo to give him praise and he gets it at the minute. He's keeping a low profile (as are the other members of the senior administration) and letting Rafa get on with things.

Is that anything to do with employing McClaren and relegating the club again?

Maybe, could also be due to him keeping a lower profile in general due to his primary business interest taking a hiding politically in the media.

anyone else see the hastily deleted tweet from the Sky Sports blokey basically confirming Rafa is interested in the West Ham job?? Maybe a tactic to get Ashley to stump up for a pay rise?

It was a fake account I think.

My sister lad is a mag and a deluded one at that, Rafa is the best manager in the country, not just championship but country, he wouldn't sway him for mourinio or pep honestly I nearly choked when he was going on about it, oh and he is taking them to Wembley this year

The amount of mags this thread has attracted, all flapping like fuck.
:lol::lol::lol:
I love how many "New Member", "Reserve Squad" or "Subs Bench" have exposed themselves simply by being rattled by this thread

They're a really peculiar breed mind!

Prefer he stay with them tbh.
They will win this league. Just like us with keane, they have easily outspent the rest of the league.
Those they have bought arent good enough for the league and they will have to spend big again.
He's failed once...badly , with them and he'll do it again.
They'll turn on him as they did with robson.

He'll be after better contract so his agent will be putting the usual rumours out.
