Rafa to Celtic?

I hope he goes. He has done well with what he has so if he leaves they’ll drop.

He is still a fat Spanish waiter mind you.

All the Brighton fans down here are wanting their chairman to go all out for Benitez. I would laugh me back off he left them for Brighton. The shop shouting antics would be through the roof.

Moving to a much bigger club, it's a no brainer. The best the mags can hope for is mid-table, survival is success for them, they're really just a yo-yo club. Bottom of the table PL/Championship is their level.

How do you measure success though? Champions league group stage is what they probably crave.
Would depend on what sort of players he'd be able to bring in. He'd piss the league - so could anyone. I think they'd stand a far greater chance of playing Champions League football under Benitez than they did with Rodgers.

It'd be a shite move for him though, but I'm not sure what else is open to him.

I think Benitez is very much about self preservation. He's always reminded me of an MP when he speaks. It would be an ideal job for imo.

Don't think he'll take it. I get the feeling its all about the commute for him, if there was a decent job closer to his home in liverpool he'd be away in a second even if he signs a new deal for them lot.

I can't see him leaving the mags for Celtic anyway.
Part of me doesn't want him to. Ashley will never change how the club is ran. If Benitez stays he's bought into that. It means two things, he can't moan because he knew what he was signing up to and they can't turn on him because they've blown that much smoke up his arse. Ashley has a manager who more or less guarantees him 14th/15th place in the league.
