There are of course plenty of holes you can pick in Benitez record, but he's on another level altogether compared to Steve f***ing Bruce.

 

[The Situation]

Definitely the best and somewhat realistic option available. He's said time and time again he wants to manage in England again and would consider any club in the Premier League. He also has been studying 8 teams who were likely to have a job available in the near future so he probably knows more about us already than our current manager does.

Worth an enquiry at the very least.

Well apparently he has moved back to Liverpool and wants to remain and bring up his family in that general area.

If he wants that and to get back in to management there are only so many realistic teams he could take over at.
