Could quite equally all just be racist ***** but it's hard to tell properly from just that clip.

If you re-read my post. Imagine the situation - you have a group of 20 drunk guys in a group, 1 of them does something based on whatever reasoning in his head then another one a couple of metres away sees what has happened then takes his own spin on it and starts chanting something.

I've been in that sort of drunken group (nothing to do with racism but using MY example above) where people will misconstrue what someone else has done and then you start your own little thing going.

As I've said, equally possible they are just bunch of racist bastards who specifically targeted him because of his colour, but you can't definitely tell the initial reason he was pushed off the train was because of being racist JUST from that clip.

Whilst I don't dispute there is a racist element amongst their support and all clubs, when you have large groups mob mentality takes over, and some join in because they think that's what they have to do to be accepted.

Most of them are just ignorant not actually racist like many people in the UK

I don't want to get caught up in a debate here but that's exactly what happened, isn't it?

Even if we view this from two isolated incidents with the first being the man not being let on the train which is admittedly not great but nothing out of the ordinary on busy metros and the second in which racist chanting took place the headline does what it says on the tin.

I see your point by it being leading journalism but I'm just playing devil's advocate too ;)

Bloody hell man. That's the most apologist post I've seen in ages. They were well out of order, and singing about being racists. Banged to rights, but they don't actually care.

How is it apologist? Because I won't immediately interpret a video clip by how the sub-editor of a newspaper wants it to be viewed but will instead realise that from just that video clip alone you don't get 100% proof of exactly what happened.

They should still be banned though, whatever reasoning it was.

Odd that there's only a handful of posters on here who aren't prepared to take that footage at face value. It's pretty obvious what's going on there.
