Right i been reading threw this thread, and it has taught me a few things.

1) The original poster if he didn't inform a steward or police officer, he should have, if he did all power to him.
2) Do we have racists among the Sunderland support, Yes. but that is not to say that all Sunderland fans are because most are decent human beings to start with.
3) I think is the most important one, freedom of speech is a fact of life in the UK, but so is the freedom of others to call people out on what they believe to be bullshit and wrong, simple as that.
4) Should Sunderland supporters tolerate this sort of behaviour in 2018, that's is up to them personally i think its wrong to abuse our players of different colours with words that are offensive to there race.
