Gutted, but not surprised. I reckon there’s more to it. She’s had a good season at Villa but just gets ignored for the favourites despite never letting England down.

True enough - she's the best goalscorer in the country and when she does play for England its anyway but her best position.

She’s great for Villa and an absolute handful. Think this is a case of dropping the ball by the coaching staff tbh

Sarina has her favourites and Daly isn't one. Had a cracking season prior to the World Cup and deserved to be first choice striker but never got the chance. Can't really blame the lass for seeing the writing on the wall and deciding to call it a day.

Canny impressive what the likes of her have done for women's football in this country.

Can't say I've watched more than a handful of club games, but there's many women footballers that are easily recognisable due to their performances in the game.

The Euros win seems to have changed the game completely for the better domestically.
