According to the NEPL handbook it is still a playoff between DNECL & NTCL. Not sure if this has changed or not with all the covid issues.

Newcastle City and Consett are the top 2 in NTCL. Cant imagine either will want promotion or have the facilities required.
Seaham Park, Esh Winning and South Shields in the DNECL

The DNECL seems wide open mind, it’s a really impressive quality of league in my view this year. Been some cracking games.
