Put a flat earthier into space

If you're standing in a circle looking outward you'll see the moon's reflection, let's say, face up on the part you are on. As that moon moves over and around that circle, it will go upside down, and people on that other part of the circle will see it upside down looking outwards.
.
You understand these two differences in observation of the moon between near the top of the sombrero and near the bottom are simultaneous don't you. Or did you not understand the primary school level link I gave you which explained this?

Aye, and it's not me.

If you're standing in a circle looking outward you'll see the moon's reflection, let's say, face up on the part you are on. As that moon moves over and around that circle, it will go upside down, and people on that other part of the circle will see it upside down looking outwards.

You wouldn't get anything like it on a fantasy spinning globe with a fantasy spinning moon.

Your Earth diameter doesn't exist.

And this latest farce demonstrates that conspiracy theorists get so locked into their ideas they basically become compulsive liars.

The claim is that pressure acts over an area of water and pushes the oceans up. It then stops again and the oceans go back down, we see this as tides. When he was pressed on it (no pun), straight away, which has become one of the default answers is "I has done experiments". This is clearly a lie.

It was followed up by me presenting data, and a repeat of what others have said before. There is no pressure change detected on land. Oh what a fool I am for saying such a thing because the effect is out at sea in the middle of the ocean. This strongly implies that he has travelled to the middle of the worlds greatest oceans and taken barometric pressure reading. However any public available data or scientific study ever produced, plus ships crossing these great oceans have never detected this pressure. The tides rise and fall on a roughly 12 hour cycle, so this pressure wave is as regular as clockwork.

However what we do know about pressure is that it it changes because of the weather. The lowest barometric pressure recorded was 870 Pa and the highest 1083, a difference of 213. It is rare to see those extremes and certainly not in the same place. In Europe in the last 14 days the pressure low and high are around 995 Pa and 1027 Pa. Basically a change in pressure of 30-40 Pa is not uncommon weather patterns. @What A Waster provided evidence ages ago to show pressure readings out at sea which are consistent with this. But this change in pressure doesn't change the tides at all. We don't suddenly have an unexpected high tide when there is a warm spell. A graph of tide height is pretty much a sine wave and very predictable. So if there was a pressure out to see causing tides we know it must be more than your average or indeed extreme weather changes. You are talking a pressure change of 400 Pa or more. That is pretty extreme and because pressure acts in all directions, would have a massive effect on weather. Indeed it would be THE major driving force of weather on this planet. It would pretty much wipe out a tropical storm or turn it into an armageddon event for anyone in it's path. This of course doesn't happen.

A little side note, when looking for data I came across these apps:
Look at the description "Two apps designed for mariners who realize the importance of atmospheric pressure for routing decisions." This is recognition that people out to sea need to watch air pressure very closely as their lives could depend on it. Those at sea are pretty tuned into what air pressure is doing around them.

For this to be possible and Nuke to have done experiments, he has not only been to these unique places in the oceans, he has survived the extreme pressure events and witnessed something that no other human has ever recorded to public knowledge. The rest of the crew remained silent (possibly had burst ear drums). This is of course all a lie. Such a trip would be extreme, and expensive. Chartering a boat to witness such things is not an everyday thing. There is no experiment, there is no regular pressure change on land or at sea that would explain the tides and anything he think he might have detected (he used the single word 'barometers' to describe his experiment), it can not have been greater than your most extreme changes in pressure due to weather.

But he is so locked into his fantasy he can't see this in the data that is freely available or so easy to collect yourself (as I have done) and find that yet another one of his fantasies does not exist. Instead when called out very simply, double down and lie about experiments. This can join the superfluid experiments and a couple of others he claims to have done. I have been involved in looking over the purchasing of some pretty sophisticated lab equipment at a university (from the IT compatibility aspect) and know how much this stuff costs, way beyond the budget of your average person. This is why we have no details, and in his head he probably thinks he has done experiments. Although it is a different playing field, he is no different to Boris. Asked a difficult question like "err, can you expand on that" and it just becomes lies and deflection. He probably thinks he has spent millions on lab equipment, has produced superfluid, has measured extreme pressure events and has proved that water is level. The reality is he has thought about it, fantasised and convinced himself he has done it.

We all know the response to this will be "well if you want to think that, I can't help you". He probably can not see himself he has become a compulsive liar. But the important thing is this is not unique and it is a sorry place all conspiracy theorists seem to end up in. They build a fantasy world and build an image of themselves in that world where they are the hero of truth doing amazing things.

One word - water level...

There is no evel of logic that can help conspiracy theorists, just leave them alone to their world (a flat one at that) man. Even putting them into space wouldn't change their mind, they old just say they were on a ride and what they were seeing was cgi.
It is what I said, locked into a fantasy.

They have an enemy (THEM that lie to us) and elevate themselves to the hero of truth. But most of all, being their fantasy world, they are in control. It is well documented that those deeply into conspiracy theories are usually of low education levels and in menial jobs. People like that probably have the least control over their lives. But in their fantasy world, they shape the world, they chose what to believe in and they are always right. All those struggles at school, all of these amazing advances we are making that they can't be part of or understand, not real. In their world, they are the scientists and the achievers. They get so caught up in it, they do believe they have done all this amazing stuff.

It reminds me of the sort of "Billy Bullshit" you get in every locals pub. Known to everyone, friends with none. Some of you might work with one. Usually a bit odd, single, awkward and overweight. By day they drive a van for a local company or something, but claim all sorts of amazing stories. They almost always have some connection with the forces. It may be MI5 or MI6, but usually SAS or some form of special ops. They can't walk up the hill home without getting out of breath, you never see them have any successful conversation with a woman, but they have just got back from a mission where the country needed them and the girls showed their gratitude at the end. We have all had to talk to them. The lies just spill out and I think they believe it. Ask them where they did their basic training, dig under the lie a little and they can't answer.

Same thing, but instead of the special forces flattards are the scientists of their world, putting Einstein and Hawking to shame. Ask them details of their experiments and they can't answer.

You wouldn't get anything like it on a fantasy spinning globe with a fantasy spinning moon.
Really?
If you were standing somewhere along the Earth’s equator, as the Earth rotated the Moon would rise in the east, pass directly overhead, and then set in the west. From this perspective, as the Moon rose it would have a top and bottom relative to the horizon like it does from any perspective on Earth. But after passing directly overhead, the Moon would set on the opposite side of the sky from where it rose. At that point, it would have the opposite orientation compared to the horizon.

And all of our maps are completely wrong even though we seem to get from one place to another nee bother by using them
You don't do it by following a globe.
Don't worry, I've factored in the earth spinning.

Get a telescope, watch a planet map its position on a chart and you'll see that position appears to move, stop, and goes back in the other direction.

That's because we're both orbiting the sun.

It's all explained here... .

And it can all be replicated with a telescope you buy from the middle isle in Aldi.
Does it go back in the other direction or does it just appear to?
Yes it does, it was measured thousands of years ago.
What with? A stick?
Where is your proof that it doesnt exist?
Water finding its own level is one simple proof.

Are you projecting?

Not sure what you're trying to get at with this, against what I said.

Some puerile responses there Nukey. Is it too early for you?

Well we do really, we use known distances and directions that all work on a globe map, we definitely don't use a 2d scaled map that's for sure, because there isn't one that works for the world.
Can't wait for Christmas to see the first one in creation that does work.
Quite fitting some people celebrate the birth of baby Jesus and we are going to witness another world changing creation when you unveil your map.

Yep one of the other flat earthers on here has said the same on other threads. all the filming from space is CGI.

Even the live link up to the ISS. Clever stuff these days. All other live green screen work leaves a few signs and it is only a lot of time consuming post-processing for major TV shows and film that get rid of the odd border you can sometimes get around people. But such is the degree they want to keep the lie going, they have secret highly advanced live processing, which is absolutely faultless.

Having had this pointed out to you previously, as to why this experiment would produce the same result for both outcomes, your reliance on this above all other things shows that you've run out of ammo and the war is lost.
To be fair I don't really need to argue this any further. It's so nailed on as to not warrant anything else....but, it's good to point out other bits of magic/fantasy that are required to make the spinning globe work.

No, they don't work on a globe map at all.

World changing will be the operative words.

Well they do.
Go measure something on a globe and compare it to known distances, they all fit bizarrely.
Highways, flights, boat trips, all as expected.....
Try this on a non Nukey flat map and they do.
I'm honestly so excited that your map might work and totally blow my mind.
Still waiting on an estimation of gradient from you though, you can't seem to come up with one.

Yep one of the other flat earthers on here has said the same on other threads. all the filming from space is CGI.
That's actually not correct in my opinion.
Why?
Because all filming is not done from space. It doesn't exist in how they tell us.
All filming is done on Earth and then we're told it's in space.
Even the live link up to the ISS. Clever stuff these days.
What live link-up?
Are you saying they can't do a live link-up to people pretending to be in a space station somewhere on Earth?

Or do you mean this stuff?
You must be logged on to see media items

They need to learn to put in the delays they did on others.
The song's good, but the acting's not so good.

I'm pretty sure it won't blow your mind. If you throw water level aside in favour of it curving oceans around a ball I don't think anything to the contrary of a globe will pacify you. And rightly so. It's what you go with so I have no complaints. I'm just simply saying it's not.

Then no need to worry about it. Just stick with what you think.

His deluded argument was they used CGI to take out the wires used to simulate zero gravity. And one final thing your globe busting water on a football analogy, you do realise that after you have done this the ball is still wet hence some water is indeed clinging to the surface of a ball.

How can I offer you one it's a 3d object you fool.
Go and have a look at one in a shop take some string and a scale rule and check some distances
Then no need to worry about it. Just stick with what you think.
So you have no idea of the gradient that is so slight it not noticed yet definitely isn't flat because your world has a raised centre.
Is that because there is no gradient after all?
On a flat map, yes.
This is the thing, they DON'T work on a flat map, that's our point 🙄🙄🙄
