Yep but then again we're only talking a few miles, not 100.
Aren't scopes amazing though? To see lights in the sky that are said to be 4000 trillion and up to 16,000 trillion miles away and that's just with the naked eye and the scopes that can let us see way more miles.
I'm sitting laughing like hell here at how those at the top have taken the absolute pee out of us all.
Anyway back to the ships.
A few miles for the naked eye and they disappear due to what I explained.
What they don't do is sail down a curve t.
No matter which way you want to look at it or spin it, the Earth is absolutely not a spinning globe, unless you have some proof that you're holding back. I've yet to see any.
There's no argument from me about Australia existing. the argument is, it's not where we're told.
WRONG.
The simplest demonstration of all and anyone can do it but many will choose not to or will choose to believe water curves around a ball rather than conforming to the container it is in and laying surface level.
An experiment we've explained is flawed many times, but you refuse to accept it because "gravity isn't real either, stuff's held to the floor by atmospheric stacking denpressure friction counteracting against the dense mass pressure friction from the objects on the ground".
It's up to those who want to use layman's logic.
You spelled "ignoramuses'" wrong, marra.
I have no need to share it, it's there for anyone to test in all forms.
We all have. The experiments proved conclusively that water curves, beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Tell me something. Do you walk up a hill flat-footed with your body angled outwards looking at the sky or do you bend your feet and try to angle upright in order to negotiate it?
We walk up the hill perpendicular to the Earth's centre of gravity.
Of course, go and test water for conforming to a container it is in and a surface level.
Then try the same thing on a ball of any size.
We all have. It proved you wrong.
Now if you want to use this analogy for your globe and ship you must also offer your ship coming up the other side with its bow underwater with its stern sticking out of it to allow the mast to level off and this would be the same at the opposite ship.
No you wouldn't, you daft sod. That's not how gravity works. That's not how geometry works. That's not even how looking at things works.
Yet again you show beyond a shadow of a doubt that you don't understand anything about anything.
And if you were to place two small boats, both with a crows nest and one model sailor stood flat to that nest floor on each boat on each side of a hill and have those boats move toward each other at the top, you will see the model sailors looking up at the sky and the bows of both boats showing to each other.
Again, proving you don't understand scale or geometry.
It just doesn't work, no matter how it's dressed up.
Only in your poor misguided skull, devoid of brain cells.
It has been explained to you many times on this thread what is meant by "flat earth". I've explained to you at least once already
today.
If you're deliberately trying to look stupid and ignorant, you're succeeding.
If this is accidental, then my condolences.
