Put a flat earthier into space

Well if the north Pole is the centre they would generally straighten up and travel in an East or West direction getting closer to the centre, how does that show on a compass though as they tend to straighten up north to south?
If you were to head toward the center then, until you get as close as you can to it, your compass will still offer what's referred to on it as north until you decide to alter your course.

Yes but a stick in a whirlpool straightens up and goes around in circles easterly and westerly so surely that's the way the compass would point if being pushed by vortex power?

What from the vortex manipulates it to make it point north?
It always does.
I mean, i thought it was magnetism, and with human hairs not being magnetic they don't point north.
Everything is magnetic because everything is part of a vortex. Trapping pressures offers strength to certain materials that can actually do this.
Why are compass needles always pointing north, unless put close to a magnetic field? You say its the vortex, so if I'm holding a peice of thread or a human hair, why would they not point in the direction of this vortex
It all depends on what else is manipulating whatever material you hold.
If you headed west, your compass needle still points north.

The needle doesn't point in the direction you are walking.
There is no west nor east, nor south, just one direction which is to the centre.
Your own manipulation offers you your own direction based on the letters on your compass to enable you to hit landmass.

You've never used a compass have you?

If you were to leave that stick loose in a whirlpool it would follow the water, around and around and eventually into the centre.
Adding something to the stick to stop that offer you one direction which may very well be a slight push to the way the whirlpool swirls. Now think of that as the North on your compass.

Yes I have, many times.

That doesn't make sense, the direction of flow/force is east to west in a circular motion slowly towards the centre.
So why doesn't a compass needle follow this line of flow?

No. Accepting that we don't yet know everything is good and healthy. Assuming that everything is a lie is not.
I do not assume everything is a lie. I merely question what I believe does not offer proof.

It will but it will point to north on the compass because north is what is set up for it to be.

You do like. Every field of expertise is a lie to you. People in this thread who work in industry you think you know better but won't show any detail.

Many people work in many sectors of industry and they follow whatever is set out. It does not mean it offers an idea of what Earth is and how it works. It means it offers the person training into following a path that may offer a sleight of hand from the actual truth.

I think we've seen one of old classics attempted here.
Talk a load of shite about something (in this case compass needles being moved by a vortex) then get pinned down to the point where there's no answer, so just come out with something ridiculous to distract.
Today it is "there's only one direction, north. No such thing as east, south or west".
Similar to how not all right angles are the same. A bombastic statement that diverts focus (pin point level focus) elsewhere.

Like every so often there'll be a bit of "debate" he gets stuck so just throws in "no proof whatsoever"

So to clarify you're saying what we perceive as north and south are actually what we see as east and west on a map?
Or a meringue?

Sack the shape of earth. You tell them they don't even understand the projects they are working on day to day. Like telling @taipeisafc he has no idea about pressure vessels when he works with them.

I thought we lived on the east coast. My mistake.

His distrust of everything is scary. It's also nuts that he tells us basically everything we calculate and learn is false and hides some secret meaning but it still all works to make a plane fly, an elevator go up and down and allows him to browse the net, which was made by the man, to research the thing they don't want him to know.
