Likely nowhere near as detailed as the one being offered for a spinning globe, stars, gravity, and vacuum of space, and so on and so on. Black holes, wormholes, scattered particles in a vacuum and probes billions and billions of miles and sending back pictures and data all from the 1970s.

But they have been travelled extensively by direct flight on both routes so people know how far they are away.
They need to plan for fuel etc they can't just guess?
You didn't dispute the distance between South america and Australia previously, you placed them on a map to show where they were that distance apart (incorrectly)

I said any flight at speed over time will give you a good approximation of distance. I have no issue with that.
I'm simply saying I've never done it in a plane or on a ship but I have a short distance on land.

Australia and South America are not touching each other due to distance.
To reach one from the other in a short period of time you will need to travel flat out.

That's FLAT out, not GLOBE out. So you can shove your physics up your pipe gleeple.

So you would agree that the distances travelled many times should be reasonably accurate?
For instance have you been to Lledrod in Wales, if not and you were going to go I'm assuming you'd trust the distance on other maps people have produced
Also if you don't think the distances are correct or you claim not to know them because you haven't travelled them yourself how do you know your layout?

If I didn't believe something, I'd be looking for ways to disprove it instead of just making up an alternative and then denying reality.

If I claimed to be searching for an alternative by doing simple experiments, I'd also do simple experiments to disprove what I didn't believe.

Either way you're gonna find out one way or the other.
