Co-incidentally my daughter(no) interviewed Gary Neville this week as part of the Beckham Netflix programme and he said he thought SAFC were a good team and he wanted them to do well (mind he said wanted the Scum and Boro to do well too).

I think they've always been the preffered club if you're an outsider.

History put them there despite our hisstory. The only thing that matters is recent history as that is on the internet.

Have French friends who watch Toulouse and were at their home draw against PSG about a month ago.
Said the PSG were awful and their players didn't seem interested.
Sounds like last night.
Personally, I have always thought that their keeper was a bit of an accident waiting to happen, proved it last night.

Yep awful from the highlights I’ve seen, they are going through a transition at the moment (owners sick of splashing the cash with no champions league trophy) nowhere near the standard they’ve been over the last few years, few years time and with a decent manager they will be back up their with their strategy of buying young French players now.
Zaire-Emery looks class but you’ll not win much with players like Ramos upfront, Ugarte and Vitinho in midfield.
