Prof. Alice Roberts...

Looks a good series spoiled by Rylan being in it, might have to fast forward his parts

Alice looks totally different

What a strange presenting combination.

What next David Attenborough with Stacey Dooley?

Started to watch the 2nd episode, half way through couldn't stand Rylan any longer so deleted it
First episode where he tries to make a joke and absolutely nobody reacted was superb. I don’t know, I quite like the premise but it’s just not been executed (pardon the pun) properly.

I noticed a lot of the history accounts I follow on Instagram were at some big event with him for the show.

I have some exciting news to share with you about upcoming tv series - I was extremely busy last year! They're all coming along like buses... even while series 13 of Digging for Britain is still airing on BBC Two (and all 6 episodes available already on iplayer), there are THREE more series coming soon:

My search for the Lost Grail begins on Sky History on Tuesday 3rd February

My epic adventure, Roman Empire by Train, starts on Channel 4 on Saturday 7th Feb (with a book to accompany the series coming soon

AND a beautifully crafted series on medicine and medical history inside the UK's oldest hospital begins on Channel 5 on February 14th - Barts: Our Hospital Through Time

So - lots of lovely history and archaeology for your delectation, made by three fantastic teams from, respectively, 9 of cups, Spark Media and Lion TV. It was a joy to work with all of them, and I hope you enjoy the fruits of our labours!

I don't know about Alice she doesn't get dressed up in an appropriate costume for her history shows like the luvlie Lucy Worsley does.

I mean if A J P Taylor hadn't presented his programmes about the Origins of the Second World War all those years ago while dressed in a SS uniform I wouldn't have understood anything about it.
