I think Alice is great at how she presents the various shows she is involved with

We watch all her shows when they are available

I want to send some to my grand daughter in Australia to show how things were in the uk in ye olden time
 
I prefer her to that Lucy Worsely woman who apparently thinks that a TV audience is only able to undestand history if she dressess up. It's sort of a "Blue Peter" concept of broadcasting that I find very patronising when its aimed at adults.

Still I was brought up on A J P Taylor's TV presentions . He just sat in front of a camera in and empty studio and delivered a history lecture without the ues of any notes. He didn't do pink hair dye either.

That looney Starkey fella was a bit of a wannabe A J P Taylor but fell well short. Don't get me even started about Dan Snow and that bonkers Scots lad..

I went to see her give a talk in Cambridge a couple of years ago. Apparently she only got into archeology as her boyfriend at the time was studying it so she just went along to one dig to join him and then found her medical knowledge came in useful.

Definitely one of my top 2 or 3 telly boffins.
