*~*~* Preston v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

I think we’ve had a lot of luck this season. Long may that continue. Such far margins in football one or two key incidents each game decide the outcome.

Tbh with the Neil criticism, it’s the same few obsessive idiots every time. Not widespread.
If he wasn't from Sunderland and young, I think he'd deservedly get even more criticism than he does. Often dwells on the ball too long and is weak. No comparison between him and both Rigg and Jobe in terms of ability. Sadly the lack of a DM is costing us recently I think. I actually think Mepham could do a great job there once Ballard is fully fit.

Apart from another clean sheet, another point, another game undefeated, still top, Leeds losing

Yeah whatever, it was very poor tonight. Preston had little quality and after a poor display against QPR, we've followed it up with another bad performance. Have to beat Coventry if we're serious about promotion.

this will come as a surprise to absolutely no one but what a class interview from O'Nien.

The dafty asking the questions obviously thought they could get O'Nien to lose it but he just kept smashing it back at her.
