*~*~* Preston v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Well its amazing we’re at 0-0, I’ll take that…

This is terrible, front 3 are doing nothing, we have 3 in midfield, no idea where they are - Preston are just bypassing them, we can stop crosses coming in, we cant keep the ball, we’re second to every challenge, and if we were 3-0 down it would be fair.

Not a great half. Cracking save from Moore, I think O’Nien has been superb and Rigg, Hume and Browne are doing well. Apart from that, we need to control the tempo more.
I’m also surprised he’s gone with more orthodox wingers. I’d like to see Watson on his favoured left hand side and one-on-one with their right back

Worrying how much we miss a 19 year old kid in midfield 😐

Performances have slowly being going downhill ( Mainly down to teams seeing our weakness when pressed) but that's got to the worst of the lot this season. Couldn't even pass a ball.

Been a really poor half. Worst of the season that I've watched.

Neither wide players look sharp enough to the ball out wide.

Luke O Nien kept us in the game and is carrying Mepham here.

We can't play out from the back because of their press but don't have the player up top to be able to hold it up.

Isidor is wasted out wide. Connolly against three big cbs isn’t working. Watson doing well, at time, but clearly raw.

Don’t think the changes have worked how we hoped, wonder if we will see some changes.
