Press Conference

I always thought a press conference was meant to be advertised to fain publicity. Seems a bit odd to try to do it on the quiet  of course its gonna happen but in not convinced at this secret 4pm conference. Im still on here refreshing every 30secs mind

The Sunderland fanbase has been damaged badly, generations of fans. Going to league 1 will have a bad effect. Sunderland will never get above 35,000 average again.

Fookin haddaway and shoite man, dry ya eyes mate, nee future in history........

You lot are deluded I am afraid. The relegation to third tier and the way it happened with terrible ownership has damaged the fanbase. SAFC is cursed no matter who takes over. There are many fans who simply will not return even if the club does better in future.
But new fans who haven’t even started going yet will get on board

So.... an update.

We're recording this today! Out tonight.

YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS...

Next week, joining us on the Roker Rapport Podcast, will be none other than @StewartDonald3 (date tbc & subject to concluding paperwork).

WE CAN’T WAIT! #SAFC

Got any questions for him?

Not being broadcast live mate - the conference that is?

What is the best that Sunderland can achieve in the future?

The damage has been done to the fanbase. Sunderland will never be able to get 40,000 crowds again. IMO. Many fans will never return.

...and many due to the failure of similar war cry’s and statements of intent gong back to the 50s

But mostly, I’d wager, due to the boring, unentertaining, money grubbing, fuckabout that is called modern football.

For years we’ve had punters and professionals issuing warnings about ‘the game is in danger of alienating its core fanbase’ Etc. Too late

Its not necessarily SAFC people are disillusioned about. There’s a wider perspective.

Being shite always contributes though-but
