Bloody hell people twisting FFS. He's just said we'll have the biggest budget in the league, even more so than last years promoted sides. Also sounds like they will be other investors but it was more important to get the takeover done quickly so we can get to work this summer and get out this league as first attempt. Very exciting and compares to how the future looked 6 weeks ago, beyond belief people can be disappointed.

What exactly could a billionaire do in League One that a millionaire can't?
 
Imagine we actually have quite a poor owner by football standards tbh. Getting out of League One shouldn't be an issue, getting out of a Championship will be. But sensible decisions on and off the pitch has seen "poor" teams promoted many times in the past.

Probably the same wealth bracket as Burnley's owners. Run a football club as a proper business and you end up not spending your own wealth.
