I know it's not the biggest distance, but having slipped a disc a few months ago I've done absolutely bugger all and lost any level of fitness that I had.

The run is for charity and is in 5 weeks time. Anyone got any tips on training schedules and stuff? I've got a treadmil (it's 40+ outside ) so I can easily measure time/distance etc.

me marra said it was 45 degree's last friday. 45 degree's man!

All the best though, marra.
As stupid as it sounds, it's not the heat that's bad. You can walk short distances in the heat nee bother. It's the humidity, 10ft and your sweating like a bastard
