I suspect Sky will do a big announcement in the coming weeks. They normally like to have a PL/Championship match every day/night over the whole of Xmas/New Year.

Looking at the fixtures on 27 Dec, it will be either us or Utd (they play the mags) that will be moved for TV on Boxing Day

Or both possibly

Considering lots of people during the summer said we'd never have another 3pm Saturday kick off when we got to the PL, we haven't actually been on TV much at all.

We’re lucky the tv companies don’t fancy showing us. It kind of makes sense they’ll always prefer the more established heavyweights as they’ll get higher viewing figures.

Was advertised as Tuesday I think and came Thursday about 5pm

Announced to the clubs and police and the councils on the Tuesday.

Games then planned by all concerned and agreed can take place on the Wednesday and then publicly announced on the Thursday as always happens.

I wonder if they're waiting to announce the January selections until after the FA Cup 2nd round draw. For example we're at Brentford on Wednesday 7th January, however, that game could be moved forward to the Tuesday if either Brentford or Sunderland were to be selected for the Friday night game in the FA Cup. I suspect we'll see an announcement for the games from 27the December to 3 January this week.
