The correct answer is that they’ve published deadlines that they’ve no real intention of meeting.

Because the costs & other impacts on the fans who attend football matches isn’t something they care a lot about. After all, we’ll (mostly) still go, won’t we?

But the same people will then cry foul about dodgy streams, etc.

Why've they not announced boxing day games?

I suspect Sky will do a big announcement in the coming weeks. They normally like to have a PL/Championship match every day/night over the whole of Xmas/New Year.

Looking at the fixtures on 27 Dec, it will be either us or Utd (they play the mags) that will be moved for TV on Boxing Day
