Premier League TV Selection Dates 2025/26

Getting officially confirmed today but I think it’s 5:30 ko for Leeds 28th

City 8pm NYD

And spurs 2pm 4th with no change for Brentford

That’s the rumour on street
Only thing I’m wary about is that would mean then Leeds is 5.30 on the Sunday but sky don’t have a tv slot at that time so I would think if Leeds game is the 5.30 slot it will be still the 27th

NYD on a night is class for our bus means it’ll be rammed and we will put loads in the kitty but few lads already knocked Spurs on head if it’s the Sunday

We couldnt get there for it at that time last season no public transport and would of been £60/£70 return in a taxi
I appreciate that the 8pm kick off is rubbish and inconvenient for some. However, football has always been scheduled on NYD. It doesn't matter if it's 8pm, or 3pm, the transport issues still exist. Also, if Leeds is moved to 4:30pm Sunday and Spurs to 2pm Sunday, then that is standard for games been moved for TV for Premier league coverage. We all want the club competing at the top table, so unfortunately we have to understand games will be moved for TV. Let's wait and see what's announced though. Would they put us on three times in a week?

Didn’t know Richard Masters got on here ;)

The issue for me is that clubs and sky just take it for granted everyone can get there. You would think with the money swilling around the game then they'd look at helping out.
Nothing will change though that’s been the case for years. As long as TV fans can tune in.

That's alot of games in a short period of time without the Afcon lads, Brentford on the Wednesday and FA Cup at the weekend, i don't think we'll put out a strong squad for that?

I’ve said for years that part of the TV deal that the premier league has agreed should be used to subsidise ticketing for matches.

One of the USP’s of our league over others are the fans, and PSR is pushing clubs to squeeze the fans out of the game if they want to stay competitive.

There should be a maximum price cap on non-hospitality tickets, and a cap on how many hospitality tickets your club can offer relative to the amount of tickets offered to us plebs at the affordable rate so as to stop clubs making their stadia 50% hospitality.

Agree wholeheartedly. However at this level the fans mean even less than they do in lower leagues. The elevation to PL status just means there are more opportunities for those inspired by money.

Im still stunned by the corporate offerings cost n how many pay it!

me too, but i'm also usually a bit miffed as to how many new houses get built and sold around here for £300-400k , how many £50k+ cars are on the road, £30k for a wedding and how people afford £5k for a new bathroom or kitchen every few years and loads of very expensive holidays. their is clearly a market for this type of thing and coorperate tickets for football and other events must be in very high demand as its all clubs seem to be bothered about these days.

i guess if your on the right side of it, the economy mustn't be doing too bad

Went to Sheffield last season as normally have to take car for night games anyway, so will most likely do same for City (if it is as predicted).
And if Leeds is either 5:30 Saturday or 4:30 Sunday will be normal weekend public transport on both days so fine with that
