Premie league prediction table

So many variables at play

How will new signings for every team settle in / perform?

Will managers stay in post or move on / be sacked?

Will teams get lucky with injuries / VAR decisions?

Personally think you lads will stay up - Brentford, Leeds & Burnley to drop. Maybe change Leeds with Wolves if they remove Farke from post early doors.

Brentford look at sea and their decision to replace Frank with that novice looks suicidal. Could prove to be genius but I do worry for them.

If we bring in at least 1 centre half of decent quality and a striker that can score a few goals can see us maybe squeaking 17th if not i suspect it may well be a trip back to the championship.
Looking forward to the season but goals are gonna be a huge issue if we don't reinforce significantly

Cant see us stumping up mega millions for a striker but be quite happy taking a decent one on loan

Even if we go down it would be nice to at least make a battle of it and it to go down to the final day, I could accept that.

I would absolutely hate to go down in the limp, miserable fashion of the 3 teams last season. I think given our spend that would be classed as a failure.

I think we will be 14th!based on nothing but my enormous gut!...anybody who predicts things from pre season games is a fool..ill wait till ten games in before finalising my prediction!...You cannot really tell how good or bad our signings will be until they are tested in league games !

We'll know after six games. Not even the results. though they are important.

But if we get blown away, especially at home, when the excitement is there at the start then it will be one long slog.

Get half a dozen points and it is on.

14. West Ham
15. Man United
16. Wolves
17. Spurs

Last season's teams that survived. Have a look at the players on their bench. It's a massive rebuild required just to survive in the PL.
Last season was a total freak though, title race effectively done with months to spare, man united and Tottenham openly chucking league games to focus on Europe. We will stay up IMO. Xhaka is a phenomenal signing and I just hope and pray it goes through.

Impossible to make much of a prediction with any confidence. Team isn't put together yet, haven't seen many tested at this level. Could be a mid table team, could be set a record for fewest points in 20th. Probably something in between 15th through 19th. I believe we will fight and tactically do what we have to do to be competitive. RLB is not gonna force us to play out from the back and try to control possession when we are outclassed like Southampton. Of all the promoted teams, we are a bit of a wild card - hoping we surprise a few teams early and build a little confidence.

Can’t see the mags finishing top 6, they’re in a right state at the minute.
I think we’ll finish 14th - 16th.
