Prem Update

Given where they are now, I thought the OP might appreciate a Champo Update, so here it is:

The Champo League is light years above League One. Sounds obvious but the quality live is so different from watching on Sky. I'm a passionate Sunderland fan but also a passionate football fan (thus keep an eye on this league).

Watching the likes of Mason-Clark, Browne, Szmodics etc has been strangely enjoyable. The huge difference though is the quality of defending. Champo League defenders are like 195m sprinters, built like brick shithouses with superb tactical nous, much better than the standard in League One.

The downside though is the complete lack of atmosphere. I sat in Charlton and Watford for recent games. It was full of tourists who spent more time on their phones than watching the game. QPR was the same apparently.

Any updates yet? We're still waiting....
In his press conference on Friday he said:

"My message to them is point their anger towards me. I'm their manager and head coach and I make the decisions."

Wilshere added: "The players are very low and really disappointed and the fans have every right to be angry with the results, and the support they give and the distances they travel. We have to be better - I have to be better."

Looks like they did :lol:

Piss taking is one thing (albeit I've no idea why a Luton fan would go out of their way to do it to Sunderland). But taking the piss then running away like an absolute fanny when, as was always going to happen eventually, the tables are turned is the behaviour of a total virgin. What a pathetic excuse for a bloke

I never know why fans turn on their own team to like this....What does it achieve? It only achieves the players and management becoming more detached from the club , more less confident and just piles on more pressure. You wouldn't treat your own family like that after a bad game if they played , so why do it to the so called club you love.

Like the valve on a pressure cooker mate. It builds up and steam has to be let off when it gets too much

I was asked on this board if I'd still post after we lost four/five games. So here goes;

The Prem League is light years above the Championship. Sounds obvious but the quality live is so different from watching on Sky. I'm a passionate Luton fan but also a passionate football fan.

Watching the likes of Mitoma, Bowen, Sterling etc has been strangely enjoyable. The huge difference though is the quality of defending. Prem League defenders are like 200m sprinters, built like brick shithouses with superb tactical nous.

The downside though is the complete lack of atmosphere. I sat in Brighton and Fulham end for our recent away games. It was full of tourists who spent more time on their phones than watching the game. Chelsea was the same apparently.

Still loving it though and looking forward to tomorrow.

Great start for yourselves as well. Seems you have added well to the squad and only lost one loan player. Your squad seems far stronger this season, which you need during the slog of March/April//May. Best of luck.

Finally, one lad on here is a Hertha fan. We went last weekend. What a stadium and what an atmosphere.
