Pre season announced

My take on the Nashville Game (given that the cheeky bastards have listed 'safe standing for liverpool fans on the stadium map in the home end but no marked space for any Sunderland fans who are obviously the 'away' crowd) is that this game is marketed for U.S. based liverpool fans as a come and see your team thrash the lower level opposition. As such, I don't think our club have marketed this very well at all. At least Leeds have made suggestions for where their fans should sit. We'll be all over the place.

Mad! innit! ... I was "just about" to afford flights and accomodation, but the ticket prices push it over the edge... for a pre-season!

They’ll be paid a fee to attend and the host will make/abuse the ticket prices imo. I was looking forward to this but ne chance am I paying roughly £300 for tickets for pre season games when I can pay £30 for the real thing!

Had a look at the Nashville stadium for ‘other’ events and tickets were around 60 dollars for the other sports. Taking the mick with the football like.

Just looking, and when Man United played West Ham July 2025 in the United States, there were 83,000 in the ground. Chelsea versus Paris 82,000. Tickets would have been ridiculous. You look at those crowds and you see the benefit but really no English clubs should be going there.

It's not about the nation; the United States is a great country and Nashville really is a top city.

The problem is travelling over the other side of the world and charging 200 quid or whatever and so none of the fans can get in.

Just have local friendlies with the odd affordable trip to France or Germany or wherever so the fans can have a beer in the sun and watch a bit of football. It's long been out of hand.

Ive done the last 2 trips Spain and Portugal but now we are premier league the club will see pre season as a massive commercial chance hence the large fee coming there way fans dont even come into there thinking

I'm sorry but to register onto a pre-order list for the Nashville game, only to find when tickets are made available that...

(1) Our opposition has been pre-determined as the 'home side' and has a pre-arranged safe standing area (obviously arranged in advance with Liverpool and its supporters association) clearly listed on the seating plan.
(2) We have no pre-designated seating beyond 'not the part listed as Liverpool', with no direction from the club as to where our fans are to be located,
(3) and that our tickets for this privilege are more than four times the price of regular matches in the U.S.

... is absolutely rank and far beyond regular premier league practice. We've supplied the punching for Liverpool for this match with no consideration for the fans expenses of attending the game.

I mean, I'm still going. Mainly because I'm an idiot, but I've decided to fuck off to Disneyland Florida in between Nashville and NYC because the flights are cheaper and the missus hasn't seen Mickey Mouse.

We were always in USA at this time as helping daughter move house at Uni. Just juggled things around to fit matches in. Keeping the missus happy with a week by the beach somewhere aswell

Was hesitant to go to Nashville just because of timing anyway. Certainly going to focus on the other two now.
