had them a few years now and they are canny. tplink do some decent models. i ordered an extra adapter when i needed it off amazon as when you buy the starter kit they come in packs of two.

I need help too

I’ve got a couple of BT 500 mini hot spot powerline adapters. From what I can see online, you can’t buy just the adapters without buying another kit. Are there any other adapters that would work with this setup, as I’d like to put another 3 on the network?

Precisely this. I have four TP Link TA7020P and they are brilliant.

Used them no bother for months then the speed on them just went to shit. Switched different circuits on and off to test them but it didn't seem to be any one thing causing bother. Sacked them off in the end and ran an ethernet cable where I needed it.

If your after 4k or fhd streaming make sure you buy at least 1200 not the basic 500

I use them but the wired ones with no hotspot thing. As long as it’s on the same ring main ( obviously)they work great

Just make sure they're on the same mains ring and they'll work a treat. Both my kids have them in their rooms for their Xboxes and PCs. 200mb/s

Thats what they reccomend. Although iv had success on different rings 2 plugged into the upstairs ring and the master pluged into the kitchen ring near the router. Working great.

When they built the house in 1870 they probably didn't factor in how wifi would work in the kitchen. I'd still rather pay £75 to get it working than live in a modern little house though.
