Wouldn’t say anyone is saying he’s a world beater, just saying he looked good and sharp which he did. BTW Benfica B was the side we played, they are second in the second tier of Portugal and they had an €11m winger playing for them. Nice to see our academy beating teams like that

No bargain basement turning out is frankly nonsense. Hume, Cirkin, Ballard, Jobe, Clarke, Mayenda have all been very significant successes.
At different times Alese, Ekwah, Ba, and Aouchiche have contributed enough to have been decent signings.
Anderson hasn’t done much
Bennette hasn’t done much
Pembele hasn’t done much
Rusyn hasn’t did be much
Huggins brilliant but broken.
Connolly contributed enough just about.
Poveda hasn’t but still very early.
i think Triantis, Hjelde and Seelt Will transpire to be decent.
Not exhaustive but about 1/3 are very successful signings, a similar number are okay or likely to progress. It’s a pretty good hit rate in reality.
