Portsmouth Supporters... Scum

All the ones I came across outside the ground were nice as pie I have to say. All sound thick as fuck though. Has someone stolen the ‘T’ from the language they speak?

Maybe they aren’t your normal week to week fans, and some just turned up for trouble (especially at Wembley) but if so it doesn’t reflect well on your genuine fans

At Wembley I was talking to some cracking Pompey fans, but they were fuming about the ticketing. In their words “the estates had emptied for the day”.

Prematch today, I was again talking to some lovely folk from the South Coast, but it has to be said there was a nasty edge to their support. Coming out of the ground, there was no shortage of Stone Island clad dicks streaming out of the away end just seconds after the full time whistle to look for trouble. The fact the police deployed the horses, says something.

Perhaps we are still used to the very commercial world of the premier league, but trouble at football appears still pretty regular at this shitty, depressing, level.

If we play each other at Wembley, I doubt it will be a friendly atmosphere

You're all banging on about a smoke bomb yet each to a man laughed when our fans launched one off a wheelchair bound mag in the Di Canio 0-3.

The "fatha it git borns" paint pic got thousands of likes over all the times it was reposted.

Be consistent, don't be hypocrites.

Haway then what was your previous username...

Missed the T but took the P

Portsmouth is like that generally. I work down there Monday - Friday and it’s the chaviest place you’ll come across. I went out there a few weeks back and Gunwharf Quays was like a battlefield by 1800....and that was just the lasses.

You could tell leaving the north stand there was the chance of a bit of bother (not sure if there was or not like) but basically everyone was let out at the same time. I had the bairn so made sure we did a sharp exit but as we were heading past the park and ride I looked back and coppers on horses were moving in.
No idea, as tensions were high cos of what happened, why they weren't kept back for a few mins and instead were let out into a full safc stand exiting

Not that I'm saying there would be bother, but youd think the powers that be wouldn't take the risk

Leaving the north stand today was pretty dodgy tbh. Lots of Pompey fans, rather than clapping their players, seemed keen to get downstairs and look for bother

My last thread seems to have been locked so I'll start again.

What a horrible scummy set of twats. Hope their shit rank club goes bust.
I sit East Stand on the north eighteen yard line, I want to know what a loybry is, they sang about it for a little while  They have the most boring repertoire I have heard at the SOL. They were quite loud just after kick off with with quick renditions of Pompey till I die, your support is f**c***g sh*t (yawn, every one does that at every ground try something original) and Play up Pompey then quiet for the rest of the game. Well done South Stand (Roker End) you out sung them the whole game, all I could hear were you lot.

Fan, singular. Newcastle smoke bomb 3 years ago.?Does that make all of you scumbags? Not in my mind. Peterborough last week? Tarnish you all? Some are quick to apportion blame to all 3200 fans today. Some really good and sensible posts on here as well that realise that there is generally the odd bad apple in every bag.

Wankers

I walked straight into them heading back to Southwick near the Academy of Light, none had colours
Probably a group of about 40 - they started to walk up with our lot away from the coaches in the direction of Southwick then I heard one of them say “ Pompey the train station is the other direction “
Plod with horses started to follow them

In the interests of fairness, I was just walking out of the Colliery Tavern with a beer and one of our bright sparks bedecked in Stone Island screamed in the ear/s of a few Portsmouth fans minding their own business: "YOU COCKNEY *****". As I'm typing this I'm thinking why in fuck's name would you do that.

So geography wasn’t the lads strong point?

The police were useless like. It amazing it didn’t kick off outside of the hotel

I am embarrassed for them. I lived down there for years and I did say it would kick off down Wembley and it did. Today was the same, horrible little *****. Giving it the big I am outside ALS shop. f***ing arses fell reet out when we approached them

Have to say I was expecting way more from their super away support, could barely even hear many ‘play up Pompey’s’.

Certainly challenged in that department, but more to the point: when was the last time you were in the pub and you thought it was a good idea to wander over to a group of people, whom you'd never met, and screamed at them : "*****"? In any other walk of life that would be a ticket to the mental health institution, door locked, keys safeguarded for at least a few years.
