It was for The Tube TV show, which was made in a studio in Newcastle for the ITV network, introduced by Paula Yates and Jools Holland I think. Malcolm Gerrie, the producer, was from Ryhope and he thought the industrial landscape would suit the music, plus it was an excuse to film in Sunderland.What s the story here then? How come they ended up filming a video there? Wonder if they called in the Times inn for refreshments
