I had a day trip from Ponteland yesterday. Parked in the short stay.
Got back about 8:30.

There's a b&b next to the roundabout that charges £5 a day. Well worth it for a short stay.

You can also park at Paddock Hill Ponteland and get a cab for £5 - £6.

I guess aye, the bit behind? Also there's millfied area etc. The actual station car parks don't allow it though, sadly.
I was going to park at the uni for £1.30 a day last time until I found that b&b which worked out cheaper than the metro fares.

I didn't know that. Always street parking. Cost versus convenience I guess
But this was a thread about parking at the airport so why would it matter about their not being a car park at the metro station at the airport?
