Everything I hoped wouldn't happen when we were relegated from the Prem, years of lower league obscurity. Leeds and Forest still not back and I reckon we are in a worse state than they were.

Unfortunately we have to take this on the chin and come out fighting next season.
Whilst it feels unfair that we were not allowed to finish the season can anyone say hand on heart we looked like getting promoted

Tbf Rotherham didn’t look like getting promoted, arse had gone for weeks.

Its a travisity to be honest, im just repeating whats already been said but to vote to end season then want to play in play offs is a scandal. If you vote to end season then you do what Bury did and drop out of league unable to fulfill fixtures. The big issue is next season i know you say we will be in league one but with the possibility of no fans in stadiums many clubs maybe as many as 33% (this is a guess) from champ to league two may not be able to start a season, Championship teams may be supported by the tv money but l1 and l2 have absolutely no chance. This could be the cull that takes our professional game down to 2 maybe 3 leagues. 72 teams 50% cant continue leaves 36 to 50 teams to contest 3 leagues, I just dont think that works.

Donald i believe cannot afford another season in this division and may be forced to sell for whatever price he can get, when we still had a chance of promotion he could ask fro 50 mill its now worth 10 million tops it is also carrying a 10 mil loan which also needs repaying. There is massive change coming unsure whether itll be good or bad mind but unfortunately we missed our chance last year.

Not a chance will Stewie let go of these reins until he can make a hefty profit. Suck it up everyone, he is going nowhere despite his promises and his full commitment to selling.
Wait for the next statement telling us "there is still a queue of investors, its just a matter of choosing the right one. That task will be much easier if season ticket holders renew. Do your bit and help the club to a brighter future"

I completely disagree mate unless the leagues are restructured and in a million to 1 chance we end up in a higher division, he hasnt got the money to take us into a 3rd season in this division he has too pay £10 million back to the yanks also.

here's hoping he can't mate. Hopefully the impact of the season card cancellations will make him fall on his sword

As ridiculous as decision is it’s an absolute disgrace we cannot be Top six even on a method like this.
The team winning the league have no money and not even a ground to their name; not to mention the might of Fleetwood And Wycombe performing better than a club the size of ours.
It’s embarrassing if we as supporters play victims with this the difference In resources for 7 teams above is so vast it’s scary, it’s not deluded to think we should be walking the league.
no anger from me towards the EFL, The Parasites running the show should be ashamed (they won’t be). We are laughing stock of league at expense of Arseholes like Coventry city, fuck you Donald and your mates cheating a wage out of our great club.
their Oyston level for me not a penny more while they are still here, I hope many follow suit. 5,000 crowds and less are what they deserve hit them where it hurts (and all they care for) I may add, I hope football bleeds them dry.

Also need to make it clear that their directors are persona non grata at the SoL, and that our directors will not go to their grounds.
I'd much rather we told Parkinson he wasn't welcome at our ground any more. Same goes for Donald and Methven although that's less realistic.

I think Rotherham would have ended up in the play offs but to be fair am not really bothered about any other club.
My worry is that we start going backwards towards being a mid table league one team. If we are going to push for promotion next season we need to decide which players to offer contracts to now

I'd love it if last second after taking the votes they told the ones who voted to end the season they'd remain in L1 and their play-off spots would work their way down.

Maybe all seasons should be like this from now on. Seems a totally fair and balanced why to complete a season.

After all it's not like teams have ever found form in last 6 or so games of a season and stayed up, gone up etc.

Why bother with a full season ever again.

The final vote. Far bigger margin than I expected.

18-4, with 1 abstention.

Tranmere I believe abstained.

4 that voted to play on were Pompey, Posh, Sunderland and Ipswich. Oxford and Fleetwood deserted the group and voted to curtail.

Keep reading this, yet a maximum of 3 playoff games is going to cost a lot less than it would for the season to be finished, Wycombe for example can afford 3 games but not 9, makes perfect sense.
So what are they going to do next season mate.

When footy does resume those fuckers shouldn’t be forgotten.
I'm sure they'd be gutted.
They f***ing will be if our away support dont show up.

I didn’t think we’d be promoted. For me that’s got fuck all to do with it. In the spirit of the game the matches should have been played, or the season voided. I said this when the virus first struck.
