We lack flair which is clear cut given our return of 22 PL goals in 27.5 games. Losing AJ is of course massive and the signing of Defoe, whilst undoubtedly a coup, isn't going to work if we aren't good enough to play 2 upfront, isn't going to work if we don't have a good enough striker to play up front with Defoe (Graham for me is worse than Altidore and his goals record suggests that) etc...

It's the blind leading the blind. And oh my God do we lack pace as well!
