Playoff weekend - Lords

When we were there in 2019 a Middx supporter in front of us was warned and then hauled out for complaining (entirely justifiably) when the umpires took the teams off for bad light. It was hardly offending anyone and no bad language or anything.

Fortunately he talked his way back in, but it was all a bit OTT for what it was.

people going thurs and friday?

just wondering what time to kick of festivities on the Friday centrally if I make it.

Used to be a member at Middlesex, wish I still had that, swanning around the longroom with my Durham tie on!

simpler times

What’s Lords like for a county game, can you move around the ground and sit anywhere other than the pavilion?

So will the singing end move with the sun?

Fart too loudly in Lords and they throw you out.

When I was in there a couple of weeks ago saw Marstons Pedigree I think advertised for summat like £4.50 a pint or £4.20 a half in some shed bar next to the museum. I thowt there must have been some mistake, would expect it for less than £6 in a stadium.

You can take two 500ml cans or a bottle of wine in.

Not certain if this is 100% correct but had a message saying no tickets on the gate. You have to create a Lords account online and buy them on there. Just in case anyone was rocking up to pay on the gate

Lords prices are usually reasonable. Must be something to do with MCC as only ground you can take drink in for England matches or certainly that was the case when I was last there.
