Plantation Shutter Blinds

The missus is intent on getting shutter blinds for the living room bay window. Got a quote yesterday from Hilarys for about a grand for hardwood, tiered blinds.

Has anyone else (in the North East) had these fitted, is this the ballpark figure for them? Is there any benefit in going cheaper? Salesman patter was usual "our guys are experienced blind fitters, not some random joiner" and "our material won't warp, unlike the cheaper LDF alternatives"

Anyone had any experiences in getting these fitted?

Ring them back and say NE Blinds have quoted you £800 for the exact same thing.
