There were a canny few of our lot in the Moon Under the Water Wetherspoons after the Portsmouth game.

They had loads of excellent real ales available, averaging only about £2.25 a pint. I filled my boots!

Back to Wealdstone, see if the bar is open, drive back to Mountsorrel, see if a bar is open and spend the night at bro in laws, who has promised us all a celebratory Chinese. Travel back Monday fresh as a daisy, probably disappointed but I won’t care. Sunderland till I die and all that. Look forward to a break from football, next season starts before I go on holiday, go on holiday, come back, have Christmas and New Year, celebrate a few wins, promoted from League 1 by March, relax April and May.
