It seems that way. We haven’t even seen any credible links since Guendouzi and that seems like weeks ago.

I know the club are very good at stopping leaks but even in the summer we’d get a tweet from Romano and then a player would be unveiled a day or do later.

It’s getting to the stage of the window where even that timescale will soon be tight.

Possibly not, but things can fall into place quickly so I wouldn’t rule it out because of time.

Traore and Roefs were very quick

I’m a bit surprised we haven’t gone for another midfielder given Xhakas injury and it looks like we were pursuing one before. Maybe some last minute faces but it’s not looking likely.

The main issue with our squad is although we’ve got a canny few players, not a lot of them are premier league quality. One injury means a bit of a struggle

Traore in particular. Seemingly we only found out about his availability very late in the last window while negotiating for Brobbey.

For £2.5m he’s been an excellent addition. His absence during AFCON and beyond due to injury has been a big loss.

It’s like people haven’t seen how club have operated last few years with regards transfers
People seem to weirdly crave these rumours just to think it make us seem more active
These people must miss the days when Methven leaked news to Roker Report
