My assumption based on club and journalist comments was that we had 2 more ~£20m signings in us. CB (Lucumi) and forward. Maybe Lucumi costs more and the forward is less
If this is a loan with a possible signing next season, I’d hope we still have those funds. A winger and a striker would be ideal.

Not really. A bit of links to Yilmaz of Galatasary and a lad from Salzburg (iirc).
I think people saw the Lauriente deal fall through and are expecting a replacement for that.

They’re a 2.Bundesliga team, given the other option was NEC in the Dutch league, I think that’s more likely than Wolfsburg.
Saying that, it would be a brilliant move if we went to Wolfsburg.
Need to track Megabus for them mate.
