I don’t know a great deal about the bloke, but I did read today that he takes great pride in his stores and often goes in to stack shelves himself and gives the staff a bollocking if the place is a mess.

Interesting that KLD has established a business that is looking to start a Rugby 7s promotion that seems to be pushing an IPL type format. The Home Bargains bloke sponsors St Helens RFC. I think there is something going on here.

Very doubtful that a shy Liverpudlian billionaire who's built up his wealth over the years in retail wants to chuck his money away investing in a football project like ours.
