I agree, they would definitely do something if the shoe was on the other foot, no doubt about it, all banter at the end of the day. Anyone moaning about it and saying give it to charity then they don't have to support this and can donate their money to charity instead of putting it in here but it's all individual choice, I see nothing wrong with sending the plane over again. Will spice up Sunday that's for sure

Totally agree. You can apply that to anything you buy over and above the absolute basics - in reality you do not go through life saying I should not buy that when I can give the money to charity. So if people want to splash £10 or whatever on a plane, let it be!

I'd rather people put £750 to a worthwhile charity rather than look obsessed. Complete waste of money.
Is it now a complete waste of money? ;)

Anyone who adds to the total now is either donating directly to the SAFC Foundation or chipping in a bit to the cost of the plane or a bit of both or 60/40 etc. Basically it's up to them whatever they think they are doing with the money.

As I said earlier, would someone be able to come on here and just start a thread asking for donation and get anywhere near what it costs for a plane? Would anyone have even bothered creating a thread to ask? The answer I reckon would be no they wouldn't. So this daft obsessed 'gimmick' is actually now getting money for the Foundation and I think it's near to £100 already!

It would be f***ing class if we could get this to £1000 by Sunday so that this will also be in th media etc so haway lads n lasses get this to £1000 for the Foundation Of Light! ;)

The total is now reached and there will be a charitable donation aswell; The SMB can decide where to; The Foundation or could contact the club and ask for it to go to a charity of the gaffas choice
Foundation is good for me as it's local and obviously Sunderland related with it being the Sunderland Registered Charity but maybe Sam's decision is canny anarl.

It would be f***ing class to get the donation up to £1000 and I'm sure the SMB can do it so what is the total now then mate? (minus the £200 loan of course ;-) but hoy in £20 extra for @si73 as I'll be meeting him tomorrow to get it)

After taking the 200 off, the total is £1029.14 so there is a sizable donation to make aswell
