They'll want to be seen to be doing something about it to prevent it happening at Wembley.

What harm was done? Anyone injured? The ones commenting on here that is was harmless, passionate fun.....if they are involved , whether thats goin on pitch or lifting their kids over barrier will have a nervous 2 weeks watching for postman...in case that Burnley style letter lands on dormat
What?anyone else see the lad drop his phone, cov player boot it away then rudoni pick it up and stick it in his shorts?
The thing is though, the Burnley pitch invasion v Sheff U was similar - loads on it and no one injured (although the opposition took more flak than Coventry did from our lot). What harm was done? Anyone injured?
Did those doing it look passionate or lack-lustre?
The players wanted to celebrate with the fans, do you think Cirkin should be given a lifetime ban for jump into the stands?
I didn't go on the pitch, but the way you're going on like a retired traffic warden, saying it ruined your night is way more cringeworthy than a few kids running on the pitch.
I was at Luton that night too. It was pathetic what their fans did and makes you wonder what the outcome would have been if the Coventry fans had been pitch side.Absolutely pathetic behaviour from anyone who went on the pitch to be honest. The inability for fans to just stick off the pitch (especially post-Covid I reckon) is insane.
I’m glad the majority were clever enough not to do it. It allowed all of us to celebrate with the players.
Everyone who thought they looked cool knee sliding, or the ones doing the ole with Mayenda
As for those who went up to the opposition. As someone who stood there after Luton fans invaded the pitch and ran straight to our fans - I’ll never stop thinking it’s the saddest existence going when your team have won a semi-final and are off to Wembley but your more arsed about the opposition and having a dig. Pathetic people.

Even in that case, lifetime bans were issued to everyone identified running onto the pitch - it might have set a precedent.
44 injuries and 25 taken to hospital in Hamburg on Saturday. If some do it now, then more do it next time more and then loads do it so it needs to be stopped before owt happens. There's at least 2 knackers going up to Lampard with phones in hand and others have said about fans going towards Coventry fans. Given the amount of advertising hoardings around pitches then one of those falling over could knack a bairn if they're on it when it goes over. Its all fun and games until someone gets hurt like.
Wasn't a criminal offence to be on.theitch then like it is nowFfs man was just kids letting off steam
We did same back in 1992 after the Chelsea cup semi and had a massive flag on us
Oh dear...the club announcement has just come through.....over to Northumbrian Police and Club investigation now...bans and prosecutions possible....u call me a knobhead but at least i ll be a knobhead with a season ticket.you are like. not just that, but a knobhead too. fans hurt no one. no fighting. and you want them banned for life. your fellow supporters. aye, boring and a knobhead.
Good celebratory mass pitch invasions man.
The Stadium of Light crowd have never been down with it. Tutting and booing when ever they look like they might occur.
Not the ones goading Coventry players. Ban them for mebit of excitement and passion for once man leave people alone
just saying Hank , heat of moment and teenagers , sometimes do daft thingsWasn't a criminal offence to be on.theitch then like it is now
In the past it’s provided one of our most enduring images of promotionAbsolutely pathetic behaviour that tarnishes the club and fan base. Why anyone would think that is a good idea is beyond me
While I won’t go as far as saying I hope they get banned, I certainly won’t have any sympathy for any that do. Except the ones who went up to the Coventry players, hope they get banned
What’s the relevance of Covid?Absolutely pathetic behaviour from anyone who went on the pitch to be honest. The inability for fans to just stick off the pitch (especially post-Covid I reckon) is insane.
