Pink seats fading rapidly

Spot on. Only an issue if we aren't in the prem. No spare seats = no pink seats.

As I said above.
Were on TV a lot more now. Drone footage, background to post match analysis, footage of players warming up/half time etc will all show empty seats.

If we want to be treated like a premier league club we need to look like one. Our media teams and players are doing that, our owner is doing that, and the fans are doing that.

Faded seats and tatty infrastructure doesnt do us an favours on camera. Theres higher priorities im sure but its still something that im sure the club will be aware is important

Unfortunately theyre regularly seen on the media in build up to games etc, and it's a poor look on the club if the ground looks tatty.

Id imagine the club would want the stadium to look good on aerial shots and in the background when the pundits are talking after home matches, tatty pink seats doesnt do that.

I’m sorry mate but I disagree with this, in the build up to live games nowadays you get barely more than 30 mins if that before a game, so they are barely seen.

The only time you get a decent amount of build up is actually a Monday night game we have coming up (and I would bet anything not 1 word is said by the media or watching public about itI have never had 1 opposing fan speak to me about the colour of our seats, or heard 1 national media person discuss it.

It honestly only exists in the mind of Sunderland fans, who allow themselves to get wound up by them up the road.

Its clearly something that bothers us fans. Bruce will already know this. It'll get sorted.

A relentless obsession

They bought the cheapest possible replacement seats they could find - had they invested in better quality then they wouldn't have faded. Simple as that.
,

Just watched the highlights of the U21 game and the seats are getting worse in colour, especially behind the North stand goal...too used to seeing them full now so got a good look at them

Think the seat colouring, wording etc. needs a complete overhall next summer - the white corners need to go also
Buy cheap, buy twice. Stewart Donald to thank for that! It sums up the era under him at SADC

The ones ES replaced are still a deeper shade of red than SD

Heard we tried to sign Dembele but he rejected because L6 had some slightly less red seats than other sections of the stadium. Disgusting from the club.

I hate the white corner seats - there I’ve said it. I’ve had a close look at the configuration of the blocks and a more coherent set of red-and-white stripes is definitely possible, but not under this regime who seem determined to waste their time signing players and bringing happiness.
