Pink seats fading rapidly

You e answered your own point in your post about why it would be utterly pointless changing tbem.

They are always full we never see them, I swear only Sunderland fans care about what there seats which are full every week look like when they are empty :D

Unfortunately theyre regularly seen on the media in build up to games etc, and it's a poor look on the club if the ground looks tatty.

Id imagine the club would want the stadium to look good on aerial shots and in the background when the pundits are talking after home matches, tatty pink seats doesnt do that.

One of the sunniest places in the UK. Fact
It amazes me how many people are ignorant about Sunderland’s history and geography!

I thought that it was common knowledge that Sunderland was named by the Tibetan monks who founded the colliery in 1066. They named the town SUNderland partly because of the amount of rays and partly after SUN-Tzu the famous military strategist from Ryhope.

correct

I wondered about this, not individual of course but tarpaulin in sections - surely would cost little and massively increase longevity of the seats. Probably been costed and opted against.
During Covid, a lot of teams had coverings over the seats to try and make it look a bit better than thousands of empty seats.

Just watched the highlights of the U21 game and the seats are getting worse in colour, especially behind the North stand goal...too used to seeing them full now so got a good look at them

Think the seat colouring, wording etc. needs a complete overhall next summer - the white corners need to go also
What I like about the white corners is that they can't fade.

lower bowl=white seats
Upper bowl=red seats

This should be most agreeable to fans from the Indonesian community.

An annual polish would resolve most of this, wouldnt it?
Remove the oxidised layer, then a wax type layer

Exactly the same thing you do with red cars.
