Pink seats fading rapidly

Just watched the highlights of the U21 game and the seats are getting worse in colour, especially behind the North stand goal...too used to seeing them full now so got a good look at them

Think the seat colouring, wording etc. needs a complete overhall next summer - the white corners need to go also

Baffles me that in this day and age of nanotechnology, it seems to be impossible to produce a plastic seat that doesn't fade in the sun / elements.

You e answered your own point in your post about why it would be utterly pointless changing tbem.

They are always full we never see them, I swear only Sunderland fans care about what there seats which are full every week look like when they are empty

Baffles me that in this day and age of nanotechnology, it seems to be impossible to produce a plastic seat that doesn't fade in the sun / elements.

Not sure how you’d get past the sun mate even arsenal who have used a way more expensive seat all around the ground have had them become sun bleached over time. I guess it’s just chemistry. Be nice to have a bit better quality of seat as well my old arse needs a bit of padding

Not just us. Did a tour of anfield last year. Their main stand seats are badly faded as well. Colours fade in the sun.

The ones we installed in the east stand at the back end of Short's time are fine. I'd suggest that means it comes down to paying for decent seats in the first place.

The ones at the back of the East won't be in the sun. Probably ever.
