Pilates

Anyone on here done them? Constantly getting little niggles and I've put it down to the fact that I'm stiff as a board, I can't even touch my toes! It's all interconnected so if I can limber up my core will be stronger so hopefully fewer injuries. Anyway pilates is supposed to be good for flexibility and could be the answer to my problems!
 


Did a course and now follow exercises on FitnessBlender.com - helps strength in core, but yoga is more for flexibility. I think there's something called yogalates too.

Try Ryan Giggs fitness video which is a mix of both.
 
Yeah, I do a weekly class, when I done MMA I struggled twisting, turning and grappling on the floor, so started doing a Pilates class and it has really strengthen my core and made me more flexible, I really enjoy it and find myself doing parts of it on the mats in the gym as part of my regular routine.

I'd recommend giving it a go for a month, see if it's what you're after.
