Counties have loads of say in the fixtures, as far as the players go iam sure they would like to play about half the cricket they currently play in a season then you would see them performing at a much higher level. But as a county member you would say no i want to watch as much cricket as possible. all counties have stupid schedules by the amount of cricket they play.

He'd be in any other top test nations side though. Were too precious in England, an old boys club of nice lads who toe the party line.
 
During his time in England KP has played a decent number of games for 2 teams.

Notts - When he left Chris Read threw his gear out of the changing rooms to say good riddance
England - He was texting the opposition ways to get his skipper out and hated by the vast majority

Yeah, sounds a great bloke to have in your team.

Maybe. But surely (over time) a team of 11 honest and positive players will succeed more than a dysfunctional team with 1 bad apple (present situation does not lend itself to this argument I know!)

The ECB sent out a survey to members asking them about scheduling etc, they obviously took no notice at all with it. I'm not convinced counties have as much say as you think though.

Piers Morgan has never been spot on in anything in his life.

Anybody who trusts a word he says is an idiot imo. The man is a clown and an utter prick.

I can't believe anybody would accept a player back into their team after the text messagin carry-on alone, without taking into account any of the other things Pieterson may or may not have done.

I'm not saying I particularly like KP(he's a wanker) but he's our best player and he'd be playing for any other test nation, as others seemingly want to win and would carry his ego for the sake of his ability.

I haven't said he's popular/not popular within the setup. I have said he's box office for punters, you can still buy tickets for day 1 of the next test :) The Sri Lanka tests/ODI's were half empty in most grounds. People don't want to pay good money to watch the Cook/Downton/Moores "dream team" absolutely ruin English cricket. I'd shut the curtains if they were playing in my back garden.

KP was our best batsman in Australia, about the only 1 who didn't look scared of Johnson, but his thorn that is Siddle has a nack of getting him out.

KP won't ever be back for England which is a shame in my opinion, but this Cook/Downton/Moores "dream team" is just like Howard Wilkinson & Steve Cotterill were for Sunderland.

You've got to tow the party line to be well liked by England, just do as you're told and you will be looked after. The clowns have made a massive mess with it all and it shows no signs of recovery anytime soon. Losing a test series at home to Sri Lanka should have been an instant sacking for the clowns running the show.

I do wonder who were the "sources" for The Sun that said KP had spat the dummy out and returned his 100th test present back to Lords......... only for the newspaper to then issue an apology.

KP was the scapegoat for the shambles that was The Ashes.

The ECB made their decisions and it's clearly proving to be a massive error at present.
