Pickford to Newcastle

Just stumbled across this absolute pack of lies.
Obviously made up to get web traffic.
A really clueless article, ignoring the fact Pickford has stated he'd never play for Newcastle, that he could easily get a club better than Newcastle, and that Newcastle wouldn't be looking to spend £15m or so on a goalkeeper when we've already got 4 decennt ones competing for the number 1 shirt.
Absolute bollocks of an article. Not going up the road he's come out and said that himself.

You definitely don't.

Each to their own.

Krul and Elliot are both decent premier league keepers.

Darlow - thats probably up for debate, I prefer Elliot but Darlow has had a good season in the championship on the whole.

Selz - had a torrid time, cant see him sticking it.

Can't see him having any kind of revival at Newcastle. Got to move for the good of his career because his confidence is shot here.

Pickford will end up at a top 6 club next season.
Newcastle won't and couldn't compete for his signature.
Way out of their league.

Don't think Chelsea are looking to lose Courtois.
Spurs will keep Lloris.
Man United will be wanting to keep de Gea.
Will Arsenal be looking to replace Cech?
Are Liverpool after a new keeper?
Man City? If Joe Hart wasn't what Pep wants, don't see Pickford fitting the bill.

Aye, and even if De Gea goes to Madrid, Pickford isn't good enough to start for Mourinho's Man Utd, or to replace Cech at Arsenal. Man City and Liverpool might want to upgrade on their 'keepers, but Pickford isn't an upgrade.

At best Pickford is a bench warmer at those clubs.

Pickford is good enough for Arsenal and Liverpool. No doubt about that in my mind. Cech has had a ropey season, Mignolet is performing very well at the minute but it's no secret that Klopp wants change there. Not sure they'll be keen on spending on a goalkeeper though after Karius (sp).

Don't understand the Hart comparison either. Pickford's ability on the ball and his distribution makes Hart look like a pub player. If that's what Pep wants then he will be very keen on JP.

He'll be on all of their radars. Everton seems more realistic though.

Just seen an article suggesting Roswell would be a good buy for Newcastle as a defensive midfielder, people make absolute drivel and somehow it gets picked up, we are in the age of information overload.
Cracking signing is Jack, top player!
