Idk. Our data driven approach for keepers doesnt work. Our best keeper was already here. The current regime have signed exactly one even ok goalkeeper in Moore. The rest have been awful. Ramsdale wouldn't surprise me.

The goalkeepers that have been signed were pure back up keepers who would not be expected to get their gloves dirty. The club were more than happy to stick with Patterson in goal and spend the money elsewhere.

Can’t recall who signed them to be honest. The German lad was a punt that didn’t work out and at the time Patterson was a young lad who had been out on loan to non league clubs.
You’re right, we haven’t signed any decent keepers for a while but we haven’t had to.

Thats the keepers signed by speakman i think. And we did need to. Patterson was brought into the side because we needed a keeper. And since then we've failed to sign a decent backup till Moore. Strikers and keepers, weakness in Speakmans ability. Whatever scouting or stats they use for keepers doesnt work. I wouldn't be surprised if we signed ramsdale. Id be disappointed though as he's garbage. Were lucky patterson is so good and we seemingly have the best youth goalkeeper coach in the country as Dan Cameron and Matty Young are also good so we will be fine long term too if one fulfills their potential
