Saw him live at Ku Bar in Stockton earlier on this year. Met him after the gig and he was happy to chat and pose for a selfie.
Think he is genuinely clean of smack these days but I get the feeling he's substituted heroin for alcohol - he's put on loads of weight and always seems to have a drink in his hand these days.
I've always had a bit of a soft spot for him but he does seem to have a dark side. The Mark Blanco incident is pretty messed up and he doesn't come out of it well.
