Person you dislike most in football.

Iirc he went over 10 years without an election even though the regulations say 5 years max.

He’s a self interested greedy bastard
And his membership still put him there.
So unless you are/were an ex-pro who is or was a PFA member, how do you know how good he is/was as a union leader looking after his members?

He hasn’t been looking after his members interests though has he, useless on a key issue of dementia being linked to players heading the ball. Called for zero tolerance of gambling whilst racking up gambling debts of £100,000.

He takes about 8% of the annual subs as his salary. Best paid union leader in the world apparently.

It's just a matter of time....the Indians are circling his wagon/gravytrain and he will be made redundant on a (no doubt) very hefty pension that we football supporters could only dream of fairly soon. The Premier League players pay into the PFA a whopping 20million a year (probably not even knowing about it) Over 200 present and ex Premier League signed a petition a year ago to have him removed......wonder why?

If his membership are aggrieved by issues that you seem to be worried about, then their respective delegates will bring this up at national level - that is how things work.
Do you know that they haven't?
Salary is agreed by the membership, as in any trade union marra.
When Bobby Barnes takes over from him, Barnes will enjoy the same benefits.

I think you’re confusing the principles of trade unionism with the conduct in office of Gordon Taylor. Not the same thing

Joey Barton.
My 1st choice would be that prick...

Why isn't he in jail right now with the rest of the thugs ?

Didnt know about the gambling habit, isn't it a stackable offense?

This is such a irrational dislike, I fear someone will grass me up to the police for a personal vendetta, but I f***ing hate Micky Holland, our former masseur. We paid this twat for years, and he was selling bootleg shite to our players that he'd gotten from Benidorm, so Keane sacked him. According to Stephen Elliot, Keane even told the players "look at you. Supposed to be footballers and you let a masseur run the dressing room."

Anyway after years of us paying him to be shite at his job, he goes to work for Newcastle (he has to make a living so whatever), but then he runs on the pitch when we get beat off them with his shirt off kissing his Newcastle tattoo. Absolute twat of a man. He rubs necks for a living, and he makes it all about himself. Keane rightly spotted he was a dick.

Oh and John Terry, just because.

Gordon Taylor.........Since 1981, the Chief Executive of the Professional Footballers Association and currently on a take home pay of over £2,000,000 per year and has resisted his pay being cut!
As a yardstick: Professional Cricket Chief Exec £140.000 per year. Professional Rugby Chief Exec less than £140,000 per year.

Nearly 40 years as an "untouchable" it would seem?
The yardstick of a good union boss is, do the members rate him? Like Bob Crow, Taylor is despised outside of his industry but certainly is not by the membership.
